Begonias are fun and lively plants that will add a splash of color and intrigue to your space with their intricate leaves. Native to Brazil, these plants are easy-going and enjoy bright indirect light, warm temperatures, and moisture. |
| LIGHT |
Your Polka Dot Begonia will do the best bright indirect light. It will tolerate medium light but watch to make sure your plant does not become leggy and stretch for the sun. However, do not place in full sun, as the leaves can burn and dry out. |
| PET FRIENDLY | Your Begonia is considered toxic and not pet-friendly. |
| WATER |
Water your Begonia thoroughly when the top 2-3 inches of soil are dry until water comes out of the drainage hole in the bottom of the pot. Make sure to empty excess water from the saucer after watering, as Begonias are prone to root rot if left to sit in water. Best to err on the side of drying the pot down just a bit. |
